A 28-year-old man has died after he was hit by bullets on Thursday in Laval, Que.

Laval police say they received a call at 5 p.m. about a man was hit by projectiles when he was outside his vehicle in the parking lot of a building on Daniel-Johnson Boulevard in the Chomedey district.

Resuscitation manoeuvres were performed after police arrived at the scene.

Laval police have set up a command post and opened an investigation.
