A 40-year-old woman is in critical condition after she was struck by a vehicle Friday afternoon in the St-Michel neighbourhood.
Const. Jean-Pierre Brabant said a pickup truck struck the woman around 1:55 p.m. at the intersection of Crémazie Blvd. and Papineau Ave.
He said she was taken to hospital and her life is in danger.
A 46-year-old man was driving the truck, Brabant said, and had just pulled out of a nearby parking lot at the time of the collision.
The driver stayed at the scene and suffered no injuries, he said.
Police have now lifted the perimeter they had closed off around the scene, Brabant said, adding they are continuing the investigation.
