Longueuil, Que., has issued a boil-water advisory for a portion of the Saint-Hubert borough as well as for the municipality of Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville.

For those sectors affected, the city recommends boiling water for at least one minute before consumption, until further notice. The boil-water advisory is for a minimum of 24 hours, the city says in a statement.
All water used to wash and prepare food, to make ice cubes and to brush teeth must be boiled.
The advisory is necessary due to a drop in water pressure caused by work on the drinking water network. But the city says no non-compliant samples were collected.
Longueuil will issue a notice when water is again safe for consumption. Updates about the situation will be published to the city’s website and social media.
