Boil-water advisory for parts of St-Hubert and St-Bruno

The City of Longueuil issued a boil-water advisory Wednesday night for a portion of Saint-Hubert and Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville.

They say they’ve taken samples and are waiting on the results. The mandate could be lifted by 12 p.m. Thursday when the city is expected to provide an update. A map is available online to see exactly which areas are affected.

It’s recommended that citizens boil their water for at least one minute before drinking it.

However, unboiled hot water can be used to wash dishes, (must be dried thoroughly), to wash clothing and to shower/ take a bath.

Residents can contact the Citizen Service Centre at 311 for information or visit their website.
