<p>Yves Lafontaine is the Editor-In-Chief of one of the oldest LGBTQ magazines in Canada. He has been instrumental at helping Fugues, the now 40 year-old, mostly French language publication, weather the storms of the media industry. They expanded to digital while still printing a monthly. The majority of their readers are aged between 26 and 56years old and not all identify as queer. The team respected the boundaries of gay men from immigrant communities who agreed to be interviewed about their community work but didn’t want to be photographed.
