An equipment breakdown affecting Quebec’s auto insurance board computer system forced the board’s offices and newly revamped online portal to close until further notice Tuesday morning.

The newly revamped platform, called SAAQclic, has had a chaotic rollout since it launched earlier this spring, prompting an audit by the province’s auditor general.

The auto insurance board, known as the SAAQ, did not say when its systems would be back online Tuesday.

In a post on X, it said, “Our teams are working to correct the situation. We apologize for the inconvenience that this may cause.”

This story will be updated with developments.
