Hot start to June for Montrealers

June has just started and already it’s feeling like mid summer in the city.

According to Environment Canada, temperatures will be well above average to start off the week. Usually we see temperatures around 21.8 degrees at this time of the year.

On Monday, sunny and 31 degrees with a humidex of 33. The low will be 17.

Tuesday we’ll see similar weather, with sunny skies, a high of 32. Humidity levels will reach 34 degrees.

On Wednesday, Montrealers will see more sunshine, with a high of 32 and a low of 22 degrees.

Thursday will be a mix of sun and clouds, with a 60 per cent chance of showers – and a muggy high of 29 – as Grand Prix festivities kick off.

On Friday, rain expected for practice day at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. A High of 20 and a low of 16.

Saturday and Sunday – similar weather with a 60 per cent chance of showers, and highs of 23 and 22 both days.
