Montreal police have located three people Saturday afternoon after a quadruple kidnapping in Old Montreal early Friday morning.

Two women and one man, all in their 20s, are in good health, Montreal police say. They would not report the location they were found because one person is still being sought.

According to police, a 911 call was made around 4 a.m. Friday morning to report a “conflict” near the intersection of de la Commune and St-Hubert Sts.

Once on site, police officers received information leading them to believe four people had been kidnapped from the area.

“At this stage of the investigation, no details will be released in order to not interfere with the ongoing search,” said Montreal police spokesperson Véronique Dubuc.

Investigators with the police department’s major crimes unit have taken over the investigation.
