Montreal police have located three people Saturday afternoon after a quadruple kidnapping in Old Montreal early Friday morning.
Two women and one man, all in their 20s, are in good health, Montreal police say. They would not report the location they were found because one person is still being sought.
Investigators with the police department’s major crimes unit had taken over the investigation, but it was transferred on Sunday to the Sûreté du Québec because the last time the victim was seen was on a territory covered by the SQ, an SQ spokesperson said Sunday.
According to police, a 911 call was made at around 4 a.m. Friday morning to report a “conflict” near the intersection of de la Commune and St-Hubert Sts.
Once on site, police officers received information leading them to believe four people had been kidnapped from the area.
