A man in his 40s was found lifeless in the Plateau-Mont-Royal borough – in a makeshift shelter – on Monday morning.
A call coming into 911 at around 10:15 a.m.
Police officers found the ‘body in a makeshift shelter located between two buildings between Léo-Pariseau and Jeanne-Mance streets,” explained Véronique Dubuc, spokesperson for the Montreal police (SPVM).
The man was pronounced dead on the scene.
A perimeter was put in place so investigators and forensic technicians could assess the scene and determine more about the circumstances surrounding this death.
