Montreal police are asking the public for help in locating an 81-year-old woman who went missing Wednesday afternoon.
Jacqueline Katra was last seen leaving her residence in the Ahuntsic-Cartierville borough. Police say she usually travels by foot or taxi.
She was wearing a forest green silk long-sleeve shirt, brown plaid pants, black shoes and carrying a light blue handbag. She might also be wearing eyeglasses.
Katra has cognitive issues and could be confused and her family members fear for her safety, according to police.
Katra is a white woman of Lebanese origin. She has red hair and stands five feet two inches tall. She communicates in both French and English.
Police say that anyone with information on her whereabouts should dial 911 or contact their local police station.
