Two men have died following a shooting late Thursday night in the borough of Villeray—Saint-Michel—Parc-Extension.
Montreal police officers were alerted by 911 calls shortly after 2 a.m. after gunshots were heard on 25th Avenue, near Robert Boulevard.
When police arrived on the scene they found two victims, one of whom was in cardiac arrest, with gunshot wounds. Both men were taken to hospital where they later succumbed to their injuries.
The exact circumstances surrounding the shooting or the age of the victims are not yet known. No suspects have been arrested.
