The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) are looking for the driver of a truck who lost part of his load, causing a serious accident behind him last weekend in Brossard.
The events occurred around 9 p.m. on the evening of July 21, on Highway 30 East, near Rome Boulevard.
According to provincial police, the driver of the truck lost part of his cargo in the middle of the highway, causing several people to veer off the road to dodge the items.
At least one person was seriously injured in the collision. He was initially listed in critical condition but has now been upgraded to stable.
Authorities are treating this case as a hit-and-run.
