Quebec City police (SPVQ) are investigating after an eight-month-old baby died on Tuesday following cardiac arrest.
Police were called to the scene in the Saint-Sauveur area of Quebec City around 1:50 pm.
Officers performed CPR until paramedics arrived and the baby was rushed to the hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
SPVQ investigators are looking into the circumstances of the incident, given the child’s young age.
