Man recovering after stabbing in Montreal’s Lachine borough

A 30-year-old man who was stabbed in Montreal’s Lachine borough on Saturday is now in stable condition. 

Police said they received a 911 call at 9:15 a.m. Saturday about an incident on Camille Street, near Richmond Street. 

They said when officers arrived they found a man who had been stabbed in the upper body with a sharp object. He was conscious and in critical condition when he was rushed to hospital.

Police are investigating, and no arrests have been made so far.

The circumstances of the incident are not yet known.
