The driver of a van got stuck on Highway 13 in Dorval after moving construction cones that were blocking access to the road.
Remnants of Tropical Storm Debby left several roads flooded in Montreal last week and Highway 13 between the 40a and 520 has been closed since Friday.
The driver got stuck as he tried to cross the floodwater that covered the road around the Dorval tunnel – but he became trapped.
He was later rescued with help of Transport Quebec, alongside a tow truck.
The driver was issued several tickets.
