The Sûreté du Québec has turned to the public in an effort to identify a suspect in an assault committed on the evening of Aug. 13 in a Rigaud bar.
In a statement issued Thursday, investigators with the SQ’s Vaudreuil-Soulanges detachment said the assault occurred in a bar on St-Jean-Baptiste Blvd. The victim was hit.
The suspect is described as a white male francophone who at the time of the assault was wearing a brown T-shirt and red baseball cap.
Anyone who sees or has any information on the suspect is urged to call 911 or the SQ’s confidential tip line at 1-800-659-4264.
