Laval police ask for public’s help in search for 14-year-old boy

Laval police have turned to the public in an effort to locate 14-year-old Prince-Lee James Mentor, who has not been seen since leaving his home on Aug. 30.

The missing boy’s family is worried for his safety, saying he has questionable acquaintances. He is known to travel on foot or public transit and could be found in Laval or Montreal.

He is a Black francophone who stands 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 190 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes and when last seen was wearing a grey tuque, grey hoodie and grey sweatpants and was carrying a brown bag.

Anyone with any information on his whereabouts is urged to call the Laval police tip line at 450-662-4636 or call 911 and mention file LVL 240830-040.
