It’s the unofficial start to the Montreal Canadiens season as the team held its annual golf tournament Monday in Laval.
“In the mix” was heard often as the Canadiens hit the links. It essentially means the team wants to make the playoffs, or at least get close to it.
Owner Geoff Molson says this is year three of a rebuild. The Canadiens haven’t made the playoffs in three years but the team says it’s ready to make it happen.
