SPVM investigates attempted shooting in Lachine

A 44-year-old man was shot Friday night in the city’s Lachine borough.

Montreal Police (SPVM) were called to the scene around 10:55 p.m. regarding a series of gunshots on Louis-Paré Street, not far from 26th Avenue.

The man was found outside, injured by at least one projectile to the upper body. He was quickly taken to hospital and recovered from his injuries on Saturday.

The man will be met by SPVM investigators to determine the circumstances that led to the shooting.
