2 hospitalized after collisions in Lévis involving bus, lamppost and Sûreté du Québec car

The driver of a city bus and the driver of a provincial police car were both transported to hospital after two collisions in Lévis, Que., that also involved a lamppost.

There were no passengers inside bus, police say

Two people were transported to hospital after an accident involving a Quebec provincial police vehicle and a city bus in Lévis, Que.

A Sûreté du Québec vehicle hit a lamppost that then fell onto a city bus, according to Véronique Blouin, spokesperson for the local police service. 

The incident happened at the intersection of Étienne-Dallaire Boulevard and Weyman Street. Police received a call at around 7 a.m.

She said the driver was alone in the bus at the time.

Both the driver of the city bus and the driver of the provincial police car are in hospital and their condition is unknown.

Blouin says police have set up a perimeter around the scene of the collision.
