Charles Domingue documented his trip to Rwanda with award-winning Quebec country singer Patrick Norman, after learning that one of his songs had an unexpected impact on fans in Rwanda during a dark point in its history. Norman was told that the song offered comfort to many during the genocide that claimed the lives of an estimated 800,000 people. Domingue describes the trip and what he wanted to show through the documentary.
