How to watch the closing ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games

The world’s top athletes will be heading home after two weeks on the world stage, as the Paris 2024 Olympic Games wrap up on Sunday. CBC will celebrate the Games with live coverage of the closing ceremony from the Stade de France, starting at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT, hosted by Scott Russell.

The world’s top athletes will be heading home after two weeks on the world stage as the Paris 2024 Olympic Games wrap up on Sunday.

CBC will celebrate the Games with live coverage of the closing ceremony from the Stade de France, starting at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT, hosted by Scott Russell.

The ceremony can be watched on CBC TV, CBC Gem, CBC News Network, TSN, CBC’s Paris 2024 website and the CBC Paris 2024 app for iOS and Android devices. CBC will be offering an ASL feed on CBC Gem and the Paris 2024 website.

An encore broadcast will air later Sunday on CBC TV, CBC Gem and TSN at 7 p.m. ET (4 p.m. PT).

Viewership of this year’s opening ceremony on July 26 was up 36 per cent compared with the opening ceremony for the Beijing Winter Olympics in 2022. CBC says more than 13.3 million viewers watched at least part of the opening ceremony on CBC, TSN, Sportsnet and RDS, while another 1.9 million streamed it online.
