Man killed in hit-and-run on Highway 15 in Laval

Preliminary information suggests that a motorist was changing a tire on the northbound shoulder of the highway at the Gédéon-Ouimet Bridge at about 5:20 a.m. when they were hit by another vehicle

Provincial police are searching for a driver involved in a hit and run on Highway 15, in the north end of Laval Thursday.

Preliminary information suggests that a motorist was changing a tire on the northbound shoulder of the highway at the Gédéon-Ouimet Bridge at about 5:20 a.m. when they were hit by a vehicle

Police are not yet confirming the medical condition of that person, but a spokesperson for Urgences-santé confirmed the motorist was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Although the crash happened on the northbound side, traffic is backed up for at least 10 kilometres on the southbound side of the highway.
