Quebec provincial police’s homicide squad is investigating the death of a man in his 40s in Mont-Joli in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region.
Sureté du Québec (SQ) officers responded to a 911 call at around 11:45 a.m. on Saturday concerning a possible altercation at a home on Aubin Street.
When officers arrived, they found the victim seriously injured. He was transported to hospital where he later died from his injuries.
The SQ says patrol officers in Rimouski intercepted several suspects who are being questioned by authorities.
