A new study by the Montreal Neurological Institute Hospital, the University of Ottawa and the University of Zaragoza in Spain looked into how bilingualism affects brain efficiency and connectivity. Xiaoqian Chai, an assistant professor at the department of neurology and neurosurgery at McGill University, explains the impact it can make on young brains.
