Montreal police have made an arrest in connection with the death of a man in his 50s in the St-Michel neighbourhood Wednesday evening.

Officers responded to 911 calls at around 8:20 p.m. about a possible fight.

Police found a man lying unconscious on 10th Avenue near Louvain Street. He died on the scene.

Police say there was a possible conflict between the victim and a suspect. The case is now being investigated as a homicide.

The case is the 23rd homicide in Montreal so far this year.
