Montreal police (SPVM) say a 17-year-old was stabbed outside a Montreal North high school on Monday afternoon.
Authorities add that the victim is in critical condition after suffering stab wounds to the upper body.
It happened around 4:40 p.m. outside École secondaire Calixa-Lavallée.
A machete may have been used and reportedly the teen was stabbed in the back, possibly being robbed for his bike.
There could be more than one suspect and they could also be minors.
No arrests have been made as of yet.
