23-year-old stabbing victim found in Montreal pharmacy

Montreal police say a man was stabbed several times overnight, but the exact location of the alleged attack remains undetermined.

Police report they were contacted around 9:45 a.m. Saturday about a man who was found in a pharmacy on Sainte-Catherine E. Street, near Saint-Christophe Street, in Ville-Marie.

The 23-year-old man had injuries to his upper body, apparently caused by a sharp object.

The victim, who police say was not fully conscious, was taken to hospital.

Investigators are viewing surveillance footage to learn more about the incident.
