43rd Canadiens blood drive on Wednesday

The Bell Centre will host the 43rd annual Canadiens Blood Drive on Wednesday, in partnership with Héma-Québec.

About 750 donors are expected between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. at the main entrance of the Bell Centre on Avenue des Canadiens-de-Montréal.

Special guests include current players, coaches, Youppi! and Canadiens alumni.

The Canadians blood drive, which began in 1981, has resulted in 38,147 blood donations and has helped save 114,441 lives, according to Héma-Québec.

Most adults in good health can give blood. To ensure you meet all eligibility conditionsm you can visit Héma-Québec’s website or contact the Donor Centre at 1-800-847-2525.

Donors are also encouraged to make an appointment by visiting jedonne.hema-quebec.qc.ca or by calling 1-800-343-7264 to help reduce wait times.
