The Montreal Fire Department (SIM) is working to extinguish a fire that broke out in a three-storey building near the Saint-Laurent metro station.
Firefighters say the blaze started at the back of a business on the first floor, on de Maisonneuve Blvd. and Saint-Laurent Blvd.
The building has residences on the second and third floor, but there were no reported injuries.
The cause of the fire and the damage remains unknown.
