Longueuil police (SPAL) are investigating after a string of gunfire rang out Sunday night in the in the Greenfield Park area.
A 911 call was received around midnight about the shots fired — one near a motel and another outside a cinema — both on Taschereau Blvd.
The SPAL says that a projectile hit a car parked in front of the cinema.
The Longueuil police also add that a firearm was found in front of a residence located on Vivianne Street but cannot confirm if it was the one used in this event.
There were no reported injuries, a man in his sixties was arrested and taken to a hospital to receive psychological care.
An investigation is ongoing.
