Highway 13 at Dorval tunnel, Lacordaire Blvd. remain closed after flooding

On Tuesday, Lacordaire Blvd. was still closed between Industriel and des Grandes-Prairies.

It’s been inaccessible to motorists since the remnants of Tropical Storm Debby came through and caused flooding.

And there’s still water accumulated there.

Crews are onsite, but pumps were damaged with the heavy rain.

Workers are trying to remove the water from the valve chamber and assess the damage.

Meanwhile, Highway 13 is still closed between Highway 40 and 520 – at the Dorval tunnel.

Transport Quebec said it hopes to have it reopened by Wednesday.

They recommend that road users avoid the area and use public transit – or work from home if possible.

Motorists should consult the Quebec 511 website for the latest information and updates.
