A woman is dead after she was stabbed in the Chomedey district of Laval on Wednesday night.
Police responding to a call about the incident, making their way to Murray Avenue, near 8th Street.
The victim was found with serious upper body injuries.
She was pronounced dead on the scene after attempts to perform CPR were unsuccessful.
With the help of information from the public, officers were able to arrest a 20-year-old man in connection to this case.
He is being met by investigators.
It’s still unclear exactly what happened or where the woman was found.
A perimeter was setup by police in the area.
