Man in critical condition after Lachine stabbing

A man is in critical condition after being stabbed Saturday morning in Montreal’s Lachine borough, police say.

The SPVM reports that a 911 call came in around 9:15 a.m. about a person who had allegedly been injured with a sharp object on Camille Street, near Richmond Street.

Upon arriving at the scene, police located the victim, a 30-year-old man, conscious and with injuries to his upper body, likely caused by a sharp object.

The victim was taken to a hospital where he was in critical condition on Saturday afternoon.

No arrests were made by Saturday afternoon, and the investigation is ongoing.
