A man is in hospital after being stabbed overnight in the Plateau.
Montreal police (SPVM) investigators say they are looking for a female suspect.
Officers received a call to 911 around 2:45 a.m. on Wednesday about the incident on Rachel Street West and Saint-Urbain Street – near Jeanne-Mance Park.
At the scene, a 70-year-old man was found conscious with stab wounds to his upper body.
He was transported to hospital and his life is not considered to be in danger.
The investigation is ongoing.
