Man wanted in connection with Chomedey jewellery heist: Laval police

Laval police (SPL) are investigating a jewellery theft that took place last month in Chomedey.

According to police, a man allegedly showed up to a jewellery store on Aug. 12 and asked to look at gold chains. Once the clerk showed some options, the suspect grabbed around 20 chains worth $800 to $1,000 each and fled on foot.

The suspect is a white male, in his 40s and speaks French. He has a shaved head, with partial balding spots.

He stands 5 feet 11 inches tall and weights around 198 lbs.

The suspect was wearing a long-sleeved shirt with blue checks, blue jeans, and white and black shoes.
