Montreal drivers will see some driving delays over the weekend, as work is expected to continue on the Honoré Mercier Bridge.
Traffic on the bridge will be reduced to one lane in each direction beginning at 11 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 23, with all lanes being reopened at 5 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 26.
Transport Quebec says repair work on the bridge’s structural steel elements will be taking place.
Drivers are advised to leave extra time for their commutes if they need to take the Honoré Mercier Bridge. Additionally, it is also recommended to seek alternate routes.
Construction may be delayed due to weather conditions.
