Motorcyclist dies after accident on Highway 15 in Montreal

A 31-year-old motorcyclist died after colliding with a vehicle on Highway 15 in Montreal on Thursday night.

The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. on Highway 15, heading north, near the ramp on Highway 40.

According to the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), traffic suddenly stopped when the motorcyclist collided with the car in front of her.

“The 31-year-old motorcyclist suffered serious injuries. She was transported to the hospital, where unfortunately she was pronounced dead,” said SQ spokesperson Nicolas Scholtus.

Another motorcyclist,19, also suffered minor injuries in the same accident.

A SQ reconstructionist went to the scene Thursday to analyze the incident.
