Possible thunderstorm in Montreal as extended heat wave continues

The Imagine Dragons hit “Thunder” may be a good theme song for Montrealers today.

Environment Canada forecasting showers over the city with a risk of, you guessed it — a thunderstorm.

Despite the rain, the extended heat wave in the Montreal area continues on Wednesday — feeling like 33 degrees with the humidex.

That popular song from the American pop rock band could be sung early this evening as a thunderstorm risk remains possible.

Come Thursday, the weather agency predicts a mix of sun and clouds in the morning — with a 30 per cent chance of showers in the afternoon.

The high will be 30 degrees — feeling more like a scorching 39 with the humidex.
