Presidents Cup set to bring ‘Fan Village’ to downtown Montreal

Montreal will be hosting the 2024 Presidents Cup at the end of September and fans can experience the event even in the heart of downtown – with a ‘Fan Village.’

The golf tournament will take place at the Royal Montreal Golf Club on Île Bizard between Sept. 24 and 29.

A ‘Fan Village’ is being set up at Nouveau Centre – at the Esplanade PVM, at Place Ville Marie – as of Sept. 26 to the 29.

“Leaning into the reputation our city holds for summer festivals, the Fan Fest will provide the community with fun and exciting experiences specific to the Presidents Cup while also celebrating culture, entertainment and cuisine unique to Montreal,” said Executive Director Ryan Hart.

The free family-friendly event at the ‘Fan Village’ will have a large video board and lounge seating which will feature the Presidents Cup broadcast, Closest to the Pin presented by adidas, the Birkenstock Interactive Zone, and a 360-degree view camera, presented by Rogers.

“We are excited to offer an opportunity for golf fans to watch the 2024 Presidents Cup live at the Esplanade PVM. This location in the heart of downtown promises to attract Montrealers and tourists to experience this prestigious tournament in a friendly environment as if they were there in person,” said Annik Desmarteau, the managing director of Ivanhoé Cambridge in Québec.
