‘Rain, rain, go away’: Frequent rounds of showers in Montreal this week

Seems like Montrealers will be singing the nursery rhyme “Rain, Rain, Go Away” as frequent rounds of showers are set to cover the city.

The work week starting mainly cloudy, with a high of 19 degrees.

Environment Canada saying there’s a 30 per cent chance of rain this morning and in the early afternoon.

The chance of showers increases on Tuesday — to 60 per cent — while the mercury drops slightly to a high of 18 degrees.

Mid week is set to be dry conditions. The weather agency forecasting warmer weather, a high of 22 degrees.

Thursday: sunshine!

That day, May 16 — which is Janet Jackson and Megan Fox’s birthdays — will see a high of 24 degrees in Montreal.

But like the next line of the “Rain, Rain, Go Away” nursery rhyme goes: “Come again another day.”

And it seems like it may come again as the weekend begins.

Friday still summer-like temperatures with a high of 23 degrees. Also forecasted though is 60 per cent chance of showers.

Same for Saturday and Sunday — a possibility of rain — but hopefully…this will go away.
