St-Leonard business hit by arson: Montreal police investigate

Montreal police (SPVM) are investigating a possible criminal fire after a business in St-Leonard was hit by alleged arsonists.

It happened around 3:20 a.m. at Rockaberry on Jean-Talon, near Langelier Blvd.

SPVM report that the fire was quickly extinguished by the in-house sprinkler system and when firefighters arrived, it was already under control.

An incendiary object was found inside the business.

The file has been transferred to the SPVM arson squad to investigate.

Damages inside Rockaberry were considered minor by authorities, but some of the glass door windows were broken.

No one was inside at the time of the incident.
