A business in Saint-Leonard was targeted by a suspicious fire overnight Friday after traces of an incendiary device were located.
Montreal police (SPVM) received a 911 call around 4:40 a.m. about the fire on Jean-Talon Street near Michelet Street.
When officers arrived on the scene, firefighters had the flames under control.
According to the SPVM, one or more suspects allegedly went into the business and started the fire.
There were no reported injuries and damage to the building is minimal.
No arrests have been made.
The file has been transferred to the SPVM’s arson squad.
