A 15-year-old was seriously injured in a collision involving an SUV on Wednesday night in the Anjou borough of Montreal.
Around 8 p.m., a call to 911 reported the incident.
According to preliminary findings, the SUV was traveling northbound on Louis H. Lafontaine Blvd. and came to a pedestrian crossing on Métropolitain Blvd. That’s when the pedestrian, who was crossing, was hit.
Upon arrival at the scene, police located the unconscious pedestrian on the ground. He was transported to hospital, where his condition is considered critical.
The driver of the vehicle was not hurt.
