Three-year-old hit by car and another child hit by a mini school bus in Montreal, minor injuries

A three-year-old child was hit by a car on Thursday morning as they crossed the street heading to a daycare in downtown Montreal.

It happened around 9:40 a.m. at Crescent Street and René-Levesque Blvd. West.

The child reportedly left the person he was with and crossed the street quickly between two parked cars.

The young boy suffered head injuries and was conscious when he was taken to hospital. Authorities later confirmed that his life was not in danger.

Child hit by school bus in Ahuntsic-Cartierville

Another child suffered minor injuries after being hit by a school bus while crossing the street in front of Christ-Roi elementary school in Ahuntsic-Cartierville on Thursday morning.

The incident occurred as the child was crossing Lajeunesse, near Louvain and was hit by a mini-type school bus.

Patrol officers were nearby and were able to intervene quickly.

The child was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure, but suffered no major injuries.
