The City of Longueuil is warning the public that a precautionary boil water advisory for a portion of the Saint-Hubert borough will be in effect as of Friday at 6 a.m.
The notice will be be issued in connection with planned work on the main water supply system on Chemin de Chambly, which supplies the borough with water.

Please note that this boil advisory is separate from the one for the Laflèche sector, which is currently in progress and can also be consulted on the same web page.
The Riverside School Board is asking parents to send their children to school with a water bottle. “The first water boil advisory touches Terry Fox School and will continue until Sept. 13, and the second water boil advisory touches CET-A and will continue until Sept. 2,” they wrote on their Facebook page.
For the sector concerned, it is recommended to boil the water for at least one minute before consumption, until further notice.
The City will provide a further update on the situation on Monday, September 2, at around 9 a.m. on their website.
Unless affected by the precautionary boil water advisory, the water remains safe to drink.
If you observe a trickle of water or a total water cut, the City of Longueuil is asking that you to notify them by calling the Citizen Service Centre at 311.
