Warrant issued for man allegedly involved in Ahuntsic murder

Montreal police (SPVM) are looking for a 27-year-old who’s allegedly involved in a murder that happened on May 14.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Dylan Denis in connection with a murder that occurred in the borough of Ahuntsic-Cartierville.

SPVM officers said they’ve arrested two other suspects who’ve been charged in connection with this case.

The two suspects are facing first-degree murder charges.

On May 14, a call was made to 911 around 8:20 p.m. about gunshots on Park Ave. near Legendre Street and a man who appeared to be unconscious.

When officers arrived, they found the victim, who was sent to the hospital where he was later pronounces dead.

This was the 11th homicide in 2024 on the island of Montreal.

The suspects reportedly fled in a vehicle before police arrived.

Dylan has brown hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 169 pounds.

“He has several tattoos on his body including one on his neck with the inscription ‘CRIME PAY$’ as well as on his hands, back, torso and arms,” reads a press release from police.
