A woman was murdered in a residential building in Candiac, on Montreal’s South Shore.
Roussillon Police were called just after 1 p.m. to the scene on de Toulouse Street.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman is believed to be in her late 20s.
The investigation has been transferred to the Sûreté du Québec.
No arrests have yet been made.
This would be the ninth woman murdered in the province since the beginning of 2024.
