Manager Geneviève Biron has been named the first head of the government corporation Santé Québec.
Minister of Health and Social Services Christian Dubé made the announcement Monday afternoon in Quebec City.
He also announced the appointment of Frédéric Abergel as executive vice-president, operations and transformation.
Santé Québec was established under Bill 15, and will be responsible for coordinating network operations.
